XENCO is pleased to announce that a new service center has opened in the Caribbean island of Trinidad, which accepts samples from all over the Caribbean for processing in our Atlanta lab. Please check our locations page for contact information.

May 2012

Xenco has obtained TCEQ accreditation to perform testing for multiple radiochemical parameters in drinking water, ground water, waste water, and soils. The list of certified parameters includes, but is not limited to, Gross Alpha, Gross Beta, Gross Gamma, Radium 226, Radium 228, and more. Some of the parameters can be tested for by multiple analytical methods. Please contact your Account Executive or Project Manager to get the full scope of the certified methods or inquire about a specific test.

April 2012

Xenco Laboratories is excited to announce the ascertation of NELAC certification for Radiochemical Parameters in Phoenix. The certified tests include gross alpha/beta, Ra-226, Ra-228, Rn-222, Gamma Spectroscopy, and Tritium for drinking waters, ground waters, waste waters and haz waste.

Houston is now certified for numerous drinking water methods by the 500 series, including 549, 547, 531.1, 552.2, 548.1 , 515.1, 508, 525, and 504.

Xenco Houston is one of 50 companies in the greatest Houston to receive the FAST-TECH 50 award 2011. The honor is bestowed every year upon 50 companies of the technology sector, and has been received by Xenco 4 times in the past ten years.

XENCO Laboratories has recently set up a new office in Oklahoma City to provide a convenient location for our Oklahoma customers. This facility is under the leadership of our Oklahoma Client Service Representative, Julie Goodwin. Ms. Goodwin has been working in the Client Services Industry for over 20 years and is a great addition to our XENCO Team! This new office is located right off of I-44 between N. Portland Ave. and N. Meridian Ave. at 3825 NW 23rd. This 800 ft2 facility offers sample receiving, bottle preparation, and value-added services such as complimentary courier deliveries and pick-ups for added convenience to our clients. This facility opens Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturdays by Appointment only.

Xenco purchases a new facility in Lakeland, Florida
We are happy to announce the latest addition to the Xenco family, located in Lakeland, Florida. Although new to Xenco, the lab is over 35 years old. It was originally known as P.E. LAMOREAUX & ASSOCIATES, INC. and three years ago it was renamed as FLORIDA ANALYTICAL. This facility currently performs wet chemistry parameter and services, and boasts several municipal, water district, and county testing contracts. Lakeland is located in Polk County and it is the center of the Florida Phosphate mining industry. We are planning on expanding it so that we can perform other tests, including radiochemistry. The Lakeland lab is located between Tampa and Orlando and will serve all of central Florida. It has easy access from I-4 and the Polk Parkway. Office hours are from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM and Saturday/ Sunday only by appointment. Courier and sampling services are available to our clients.

Xenco Laboratories turns 20! Our adventure started in 1990, with a small, family-owned and operated lab in Houston, Texas, which boasted our recently Ph.D. graduated owner, his wife, and a small group of staff. Twenty years later we are proud to be counted among the 20 fastest growing environmental analysis firms in the U.S., with offices and facilites in five of the United States and 3 countries. We owe a debt of gratitude to our loyal customers and to the dedication of our personnel.

A new lab and a new service center have been purchased from Columbia Analytical Services in the state of Arizona. The lab is located in the city of Phoenix, has 25 employees, and a service center with is located in Tucson.

Xenco purchases Genapure, the largest laboratory in South Florida. This, in addition to our purchase of KSA, brings Xenco's division of Florida Testing Services to the forefront among the providers of analytical services in the Sunshine State. The Xenco-Genapure lab is located in the mediations of the Research Park, in the South Florida University in Boca Raton . In addition to Miami-Dade county and Palm Beach, we serve the entire state of Florida thanks to our mobile laboratories, a full-service facility in Tampa, and Service Centers in Miami Lakes and Orlando.
